The Starlite Flowering Crabapple (Malus x 'Jeflite') is a tough, upright ornamental tree known for its fragrant white spring blooms, glossy green foliage, and tiny persistent red fruits that last into winter.
Size: Grows 20 to 25 feet tall with a 15 to 20-foot spread and an upright-rounded habit.
Flowers & Foliage: Rosy-red buds open into fragrant, pure white flowers in spring, followed by dark green, glossy leaves that turn yellow in autumn.
Fruit: Small, shiny red crabapples appear in the fall and persist through the winter, providing a food source for songbirds.
Hardiness: Extremely cold-hardy (thriving down to Zone 2 or 3) and highly resistant to common diseases like apple scab and fireblight.
Care & Placement: Prefers full sun and average, moist soil, but tolerates urban pollution and tight spaces well.
