Flowers: Produces bright red buds that open into showy white spring blossoms.
Fruit: Bears tiny 1/4-inch red fruits in the fall that stay on the branches to feed songbirds through winter.
Habit: Features a dense, rounded, and slightly weeping shape, usually sold as a top-grafted small tree.
Sunlight: Requires full sun to partial shade, doing best with at least six hours of direct sun daily.
Soil: Prefers well-drained, medium-moisture soil, but tolerates clay and urban conditions well.
Hardiness: Grows well in USDA zones 4 through 8.
