Size: Grows 40 to 50 feet tall with a 30 to 35-foot spread.
Foliage: Fine-textured, lacy green leaves in spring and summer that turn a bright golden-yellow in the fall.
Maintenance: Low-mess because it is thornless and nearly seedless, meaning no sharp thorns or large messy pods to clean up.
Hardiness: Exceptionally winter-hardy (surviving down to USDA Zone 3b) and bred at North Dakota State University to withstand harsh northern winters.
Sunlight: Requires full sun.
Soil: Highly adaptable; tolerates clay, sand, acidic, alkaline, and poorly drained or salty soils.
